Create Your Best Life By Joining The Creator Economy (My 6-Step Framework for Astonishing Clarity)

and struggles of a high-school student

*a fresh insight from a student’s life*

There are only a few things worse than crying late in the afternoon, in the cold of November at a lonely bus stop, with your friend right next to you doing nothing about it.

Yeah, that actually happened.

It seemed like a regular day: The Christmas mood was settling in, I’ve had a good time at school, and now I got to spend an extra 2 hours with a friend on an event with good vibe. Yippie.

Yet there was too many people, so we decided to buckle in at a lonely bus stop, and started talking about things that...I'm kinda too sensitive about.

She was talking about how she lost her best friends, about her life before she moved to our village and basically how perfect her life was until it all screwed up.

And after a few minutes of chatting, it all laid down on me:

  • I don’t have as great memories as her

  • No guy from my school wants me

  • I’m not living anything what a regular teenager would call “great life

Now let’s skip the part with me crying…(you don't wanna hear about that of course)

What happened after I got home is important though.

I got mad.

I knew that this wasn’t my true self.

I knew that I’m the driver, not the passenger.

I knew that I’ve had the opportunity to create a better future for myself, but with my own strengths.

One, where my happiness & fulfillment does not depend on external factors & I’m the one in charge.

And I could do it all with my natural obsession & talent - not by waiting for luck to come around.

And if that sounds anything like you:

  • “luck” hasn’t always been on your side

  • people consider most of your obsessions weird

  • you’re perceived as “loser” in a regular life

With the creator economy, you have the potential to rise.

Your thoughts & unique knowledge have the potential to do amazing things - both for you and other people.

They can create life with more happiness & fulfillment than most people get to live, without it being dependent on the outer world.

This one is especially important to me because if my happiness would be dependent on whether guys want me or not, I’d be the saddest person in the country. Jk. Just in my school.

But now seriously:

Are you ready for the wild ride? You are?

Let's get it then.

The Unconventional Path & The Bubble

Most people don’t know what’s waiting for them when they take the unconventional path - because only a few individuals are willing to take it.

But think about it:

The path that requires exploring things that excite you & while building something that excites can’t have anything else but good on the other side.

“Good” that most people will never tap into, because they are limited by The Bubble.

The Bubble is your limited perspective on what a good life means. A limited vision of your future that you projected on from other people. It’s the idea of the “good life” that my friend introduced to me that left me feeling worthless.

In other words: Bubble is comfort and familiarity. But to take the unconventional path, you need to step into the unknown.

And although it’s damn scary - it’s what being a creator is about.

You are turning the unknown into the known.

You're driving people towards more clarity.

The Biggest Setback

“Nobody knows what they want to do in life. Nobody sees this as a blessing. Not knowing what you want means you get to create what you want in the infinite potential of the unknown. The unknown is where all potential exists. If it is known, that potential has already been actualized. You need to break the habit of living as your known, familiar, and predictable self in your known, familiar, and predictable life.”

Dan Koe

It’s hard to dive into the unknown when you don’t know what you want.

Most of the times throughout my journey I had an extremely blurred vision.

I knew that I was gonna achieve something in the creator economy, but I had no idea what, when, how or why.

When you can’t see any light that would guide you (like those how’s or why’s), you don’t feel like breaking out of the Bubble.

But today I’d love to change that for you.

I’ll show you my Clarity Framework to make breaking out of the Bubble seem less dangerous, and help you get closer to creating the future you desire for yourself.

This isn’t a framework for how to grow online.

This one’s far more important.

Let’s take a dive:

The Starting Point

You might not have a crystal clear idea of where you want to end up.

But you gotta have at least some idea.

Humans are goal oriented creatures.

You always have a goal in mind - now it’s time to identify it & work off of it.

When I was about to start my online journey last year, I knew I wanted to reach 1,000 followers.

The other time when I felt unclear, I knew my goal was to publish every single day for 30 days.

These goals aren’t perfect - but the idea of perfection is fleeting.

Starting now > starting with “perfect conditions.”

Commit

The creator economy is positive-sum.

It’s hard to do things alone, but much easier when other people are watching you (okay I’m a dirty minded teenager so that sounded a little weird…)

Focus Claudia - you're building an authority here. Let's keep it serious alright?

The thing I’m trying to say:

Bring other people to the table.

Commit to a friend who has a similar goal.

Commit to achieving the goal.

Commit to sticking to the process.

It’s much harder to find excuses when you have other people to keep you on track.

“Accountability is the glue that ties commitment to the result”

Bob Proctor

Educate yourself

It’s much easier to get yourself going when you have someone to guide you - at least for those few steps.

Find yourself a mentor.

And don’t forget:

Your mentors don’t need to have a clue that you exist.

Pick a creator slightly ahead of you that you resonate with, and study him/her like a mad-man.

  • study their content

  • imitate what they do

  • apply what they say

This is the best path towards clarity.

Imitate then innovate.

Take Action

That’s the part that will drive the most results (if you stick to it for long enough).

Now bear with me here - I know there’s a lot of unanswered questions that remain.

What should I do?

Remember that “goal” we’ve set in the beginning?

Reverse engineer it into steps you have to every day to achieve it.

Want to reach 1,000 followers?

Educate yourself.

Study the creators that have done it.

Research what they did on a daily basis.

To the same, but with your own spin.

Want to publish every single day?

Then simply write & publish every single day.

How much?

If you’re obsessed with the craft and it makes you happy, there’s no point in answering this question.

If you aren’t obsessed with the craft…I suppose you aren’t here because you probably aren’t into exploring & building exciting things…and that’s ok.

For how long should I do it?

30 days.

That’s the best time-frame.

It’s enough time to start seeing a bit of results, and enough time for you to reflect whether it’s sustainable or not.

And speaking of reflection…

Reflect

After 30 days, you have gathered enough data.

And now it’s time for the fun part.

The one that’s going to help you make further progress.

After each 30 day period, pause, and ask yourself:

  • Do you see results?

  • If not, how can you improve?

  • Is it sustainable?

  • If not, how can you improve your system?

  • Do you like the direction you’re going in?

  • If not, what should you change?

Making such minor adjustments is the surest way to get towards the light - much better rather than blindly going in circles & then quitting because you got wayy to lost to see where you are going in the first place.

Keep Iterating

The whole process is a science project:

You create a hypothesis (a vision & plan for what to do).

You test it with an experiment (take action).

You gather the data, and analyze them (reflection).

You make minor adjustments to your hypothesis (you iterate).

It’s an endless process.

The greatest scientists of the world has been iterating on their theories constantly to get closer to the “truth”.

You can never get the truth.

You can only keep get closer.

But pursuing the journey is the end-goal.

And it’s also damn fun.

Alrighty - that’s it for today!
